Megan Sideropoulos, LCSW
Clinical Social Worker | Connection Maker | Ninja Warrior at Heart
Megan Sideropoulos brings warmth, creativity, and sharp clinical
insight to her work with clients. Originally earning degrees in English
and Theater Arts, Megan didn’t initially set out to become a therapist.
At 25, she left her accounts payable job to work as a therapeutic mentor
and quickly realized she had found her calling. She went on to earn her
MSW from Smith College School for Social Work, where she developed a
keen ability to connect clients’ present experiences with their past.
Her clinical background spans community mental health, in-home therapy, inpatient care, and primary care settings. Megan integrates psychodynamic and behavioral theory with evidence-based trauma treatments and expressive arts therapy. In addition to being trained in DBT, she is certified in Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), a leading approach for trauma treatment.
Born and raised on the South Shore, Megan loves to travel; Greece holds a special place in her heart. She is passionate about dance, art, and obstacle course racing, and brings that same sense of movement and challenge into her therapeutic work. Clients appreciate her authenticity, humor, and belief in their ability to take up space and create meaningful change in their lives.
Megan's Favorite Quote: “Between stimulus and response is a space. In that space is our power to choose our response. In our response lies our growth and our freedom.” – Viktor Frankl
