40% of LGBTQ respondents (to this survey) seriously considered attempting suicide in the past twelve months, with more than half of transgender and nonbinary youth having seriously considered suicide

1 in 3 LGBTQ youth reported that they had been physically threatened or harmed in their lifetime due to their LGBTQ identity

Inspired is committed to providing an affirming safe space for all LGBTQ+ people where they can speak their truth without fear of judgment, rejection, or bullying. The No Shade Room is a group where Young Adults will celebrate their accomplishments, everyday wins, and achievements. In The No Shade Room, group members will find connection through common interests, questions, and challenges they face.
Group members will find support from group members and facilitators by brainstorming strategies that empower them to manage difficult, intense emotions, feel comfortable in exploring their identity, and combat stigma they may face.
