A Little Bit About Rosalie...

Born in Bangkok and raised in Central Massachusetts, I’ve always lived life with a blend of adventure and compassion. At 14, I began coaching gymnastics and cheerleading, which quickly became my passion. Alongside my twin and my younger sister, I’ve owned and operated an all-star cheerleading gym for over 25 years, working with kids, teens, and adults, and watching them grow both athletically and personally.

But my journey didn’t end there. This past year, I embarked on a spiritual pilgrimage to Peru, where I deepened my understanding of the mind-body connection and discovered the transformative power of self-compassion. After nearly 50 years, I’ve learned that true well-being comes from embracing ourselves—mind, body, and spirit. This realization continues to guide both my personal life and my professional work as a therapist.

Why Did You Become a Therapist?

My path to becoming a therapist was shaped by many life experiences, starting with my role as a mother advocating for my son with learning disabilities. Wanting to support him fully, I embarked on a personal quest for growth and understanding. For years, while coaching athletes and their families, I found myself offering guidance beyond the gym, and people often told me I should be a therapist. At 41, I finally followed that calling, pursuing a master’s degree in mental health counseling with a focus on trauma and addiction. Along the way, I gained a deep understanding of ADHD, parenting, and the power of self-compassion.
